Your rights

Want to know exactly what data we hold, change your data or ask us to remove your data from our systems? You can. All your rights can be found in detail on the website of the Belgian Data Protection Authority. Because it can be quite complex, we list a number of important rights here.

First, you have the right to know what data we collect from you. We already wrote above that the law of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data provides for the free right to access and possibly correct your personal data. You therefore have the right to request access to any personal data we process about you, but requests for access that are apparently made with a view to causing inconvenience or harm to us will not be processed, however.

In addition, you have the right to request that any personal data about you that is incorrect or inaccurate be corrected free of charge.

You also have the right to withdraw the consent you have given us to process data. This withdrawal does not affect the data we already collected via cookies or similar technologies on the basis of your previous consent thereto.

You also have the right to request that your personal data be deleted if it is no longer necessary in light of the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy or if you withdraw your consent to its processing. Please note, however, that a deletion request will be assessed by us in light of legal or regulatory obligations or administrative or court orders that may prevent us from deleting the personal data in question. In lieu of deletion, you may also request that we restrict the processing of your personal data if (a) you dispute the accuracy of such data, (b) the processing is unlawful or (c) the data are no longer necessary for the stated purposes, but you need them to defend yourself in legal proceedings.

If you wish to make a request to exercise one or more of the rights mentioned above, please send an e-mail to This request must clearly state which right you wish to exercise and why. It should also be dated, signed and accompanied by a digitally scanned copy of your identity card. This way we can be sure that you are the person you say you are. We will immediately inform you of the receipt of your request. If the request turns out to be valid, we will comply with it as soon as reasonably possible and in principle no later than 30 days after receipt of the request.

If you have a complaint about our processing of your personal data, you can always contact us at the e-mail address If you remain dissatisfied with our response, you are free to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (GBA) or theFlemish Supervisory Commission (VTC).
